Multimedia Productions

Students in the Multimedia Production program learn the principles of visual design, photography, videography, graphic design, and digital storytelling while gaining experience with the same industry-standard software and equipment used by creative professionals.

Through project-based learning, Multimedia Production students create professional-quality digital content for real clients and audiences, developing a portfolio that showcases their creativity and technical skills.

Through work-based learning, Multimedia Production students may have the opportunity to complete a semester-long or school-year internship with local businesses, marketing agencies, media organizations, or production companies while gaining valuable real-world experience.

Students completing the Multimedia Production program at the EACC will graduate with a professional portfolio and the technical skills needed to continue their education or begin careers in the creative industry.

During their two years at the EACC, Multimedia Production students have the opportunity to earn college credits through dual enrollment, at no cost to the student or family, while also preparing for industry-recognized Adobe Certified Professional certifications in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Students who complete the program, as well as additional Ivy Tech courses through dual enrollment can earn a Visual Communication Technical Certificate.
