Internship Program
At EACC, we are committed to providing students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences that help them explore career interests, develop essential skills, and make informed decisions about their future. Internships play a vital role in supporting these goals. By hosting an EACC intern, employers have the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact on a student’s career journey.
Internships give students the chance to apply classroom learning in a professional setting, bridging the gap between theory and practice. The skills and experiences they gain on the job help prepare them for future careers while building a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper sense of responsibility.

Yes! Internships are generally recommended for seniors, or year two students.
Year One: Highly-Focused Classroom Instruction, Focused on Occupational & Workplace Skills
During their first year at the EACC, students will focus on learning the hands-on workplace skills needed, attaining their graduation requirements, exploring areas of speciality, and potentially completing an observational job shadow.

Year Two: Internship Ready!
Year Two students have acquired the technical skills and workplace readiness skills necessary to immediately begin making a positive difference at a worksite. Supervisors will find EACC students well-prepared with basic and intermediate skills, and eager to learn from industry professionals as they transition from a classroom setting into the workforce.
