MotorSports

Students in the MotorSports program learn about the engine system and how other systems engage with the engine, assembly of engines, and repair of engines. Advanced training covers care and service of recreational vehicles including motorcycles, mini-bikes, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and outboard motors.

Through service and project-based learning, MotorSports students will have the opportunity to take on a variety of real-world design work in collaboration with their instructor and classmates.

Through work-based learning, MotorSports students may have the opportunity to complete a semester-long or school-year long internship at a local business.

Students completing the MotorSports program at the EACC will be prepared and have the required knowledge for the next step in their career journey, whether it’s college or going directly into the career field.

During their two years at the EACC, MotorSports students will have the opportunity to earn 28 college credits through dual enrollment at Vincennes University, at no charge to the student/family and by simply successfully completing the EACC program. Students who complete the program will have the opportunity to test for ASE Certification.

Additionally, students who complete dual enrollment courses MATH 123 (Quantitative Reasoning) and COMM 101 (Communication) either through their home high school or the EACC, can earn a Certificate of Graduation from Ivy Tech Community College.
